Missouri Valley College - Associate Registrar
Under direction of the Registrar, organize and supervise daily operations regarding registration, records management, transfer student advising, degree audit and book store liaison. This position is not remote.
Duties and responsibilities:
Assist with direction of daily operations of registration, including supervision of staff and training staff on the student information system (Ellucian Colleague).
Test changes in the student information system and write documentation.
Manage degree audit software, perform audits of student records, and determine status for awarding of degrees and/or awards.
Advise new transfer students for the first term of attendance.
Manage the online bookstore. Coordinate with faculty on book orders and ITS on campus integration with our vendor bookstore. Ensure inclusive access fees are set up in SIS.
Supervise and train work & learn staff in the Registrar’s Office.
Participate in institutional professional development and assessment activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and experience working in an office setting.
Basic computer skills and knowledge of managing a database.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Supervisory experience.
Prior experience in higher education is preferred, but not required.
