Job description
Summary:
The Lead Evaluation Specialist is responsible for the evaluation of transfer work and processes in work with the College of Innovative Professional and Graduate Studies. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the academic integrity of student records, best practices in transfer evaluations, and supporting both the Registration and Student Records Office and the College of Innovative Professional and Graduate Studies.

Responsibilities:
• Complete international student evaluations
• Correspond with graduate advisors for course description evaluations
• Process Exceptions to Academic Requirements for Graduate Students
• Transcribe graduate transfer course work for current students
• Process Graduate Changes of Program forms (eventually)
• Update Avila Course Equivalents Excel spreadsheet
• Work with staff to cleanup data in Jenzabar Student Information System
• Serve as backup for traditional transfer student evaluations
• Stay informed about best practices in transfer and evaluation practices in higher education.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in in higher education, with experience in a
Registrar’s Office or Advising.
• Strong knowledge of best practices in transfer evaluation for higher
education.
• Proficiency in a Student Information System.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Effective leadership and project management abilities.
