Logan University is looking for an Admissions Coordinator for the College of Health Science:

Admissions Coordinator assists in achieving enrollment and recruiting goals, and students for Logan University - College of Health Science by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with prospective students, college/university representatives and alumni. Logan University seeks to recruit students who are interested in the University's mission and possess the academic, social and co-circular skills required to acquire a degree from Logan University. As a member of the Admissions Department, the employee will work with prospective students from the inquiry phase through matriculation to Logan by performing the following duties:

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serves as an initial point of contact for admissions office; maintains contact with prospective students and applicants, answering questions, making/returning phone calls, responding to email messages, referring students to appropriate resources.
• Build relationships with potential students, parents, school counselors and advisors.
• Maintain contact with prospective students from initial stages of inquiry through enrollment.
• Reports regularly, as requested, to Director of Admissions regarding admissions activities, numbers of inquiries, and status of applications
• Answers main Admissions phone line, Data entry; filing; checking messages and returning calls – 60 calls minimum per day
• Working non-traditional work hours, including evenings and weekends with prospective students or admissions events (three times a year: Future Leopard Weekend) or as assigned.
• Manage special projects as determined by the leadership
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree; with two to three years related experience and/or training. Must have a high level of language skills and a high level of math skills. Must have ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Proficient in MS Office Word & Excel and a working knowledge of a customer service management system.
