Job Description
This position will perform transfer student recruitment activities.
Primary Responsibilities
Promote S&T to students, families and transfer partner contacts through formal in-person presentations, virtual events, phone calls and text messaging.
Represent the university attending college fairs and coordinating classroom presentations.
Travel within Missouri and to select out-of-state regions for recruitment, including evening and weekend travel.
Build strong relationships with prospective students and families, transfer partner contacts, and campus and community partners.
Manage recruitment territory utilizing data to plan travel and communication outreach.
Coordinate special recruitment events on-campus and off-campus promoting the university utilizing current students, staff and faculty and alumni volunteers.
Utilize computer database to update student and transfer partner records and log communications
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
One or more years of experience in student recruitment or marketing
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
Experienced with Word, Excel and PowerPoint and familiar with PeopleSoft and Slate
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
